PSLLS is dedicated working as a 'village' joining with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to better understand needs while always creating links between spoken language and literacy. Our clients' success is reflective of the dedication of staff, the follow through that our staff offers, and the degree to which each and every family participates. We take pride our efforts to collaboratively work with pediatricians, psychologists and educators.

Our Story

Pediatric Speech-Language & Literacy Services of Danbury, CT has been working with children for over 30 years. Family is at the heart of our practice. We provide world class speech and language services to help children and young adults with all forms of communication challenges. We always keep in mind the circle of learning from spoken to written language (receptive language, expressive language, social language, reading and writing) so they evolve into life-long learners.

Communication is the key to a life of connection and we are deeply passionate about this work. We believe successful speech-language literacy comes from working with the whole child, rather than working on one isolated issue. Even after 30 years, we still cherish one-of-a-kind interactions with little ones and have passion for working with young adults. Additionally, our staff supports family centered non-verbal and verbal communication to facilitate a wonderful circle of learning. We proudly help establish attention, efficient processing, and the ability to manipulate spoken and written word to create communicative competence.

Typically referred by pediatricians and listed by schools, we encourage parents and other professionals to inquire about our programs. We also consult for private schools on curriculum development and perform screenings to detect language processing and dyslexia early. We have adapted to the new age of providing care and are proud to offer virtual appointments to ensure your child is receiving the best care possible.
